Linguine Chicken Amatriciana East Side Mario's Style: How to Make this Restaurant Favorite at Home



Chicken tetrazzini is a delicious pasta dish made with chicken, roasted mushrooms and a creamy buttery sauce. This recipe is a copycat version of the linguine chicken tetrazzini East Side Mario's is famous for.

Wonderful pasta dish for either turkey breast or chicken breasts and even thighs, even if the meat had already been roasted previously - just add near the end to heat through and flavours to meld as the recipe says. The neighbours also loved the dish. This dish could also be under Barry's category using leftovers. Thanks again for a five star recipe.


OR: If cooking your own chicken, In a large dutch oven pot, melt 1 Tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with about 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Once oil is hot, saute chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through (about 4 min per side). Remove to a cutting board to cool then dice chicken into bite-sized pieces.
